I used to talk walks at the sea shore (and around the inst., and the colony at night).. with my MP3 player and my fav songs playing at a loud vol in my head.. I used to explore every hidden path that i had not explored earlier (or places where normally i had gone only during the treasure hunts).. As shilpy says, its probably the tiny bit of adventure which was helpful. Another thing which helped a lot was dance.. it sounds crazy, i know, but in between the writing, when i felt very bored, i would play music and just dance (in my room, of course :p). These things helped because they gave me some physical activity.. exercise - which probably increase the levels of endorphins in the body, leading to a general 'happy' feeling. hope this helps.
