How to make PhD Thesis writing interesting?

Please provide your input.. I am in desperate need of ideas to convert this boring job of thesis writing (something, I am presently doing) into an interesting thing…. Well, I guess, the summary of all the useful ideas provided may be consolidated into a book and would be a benefit for many others who would be writing their thesis soon.. So, a kind request to all the visitors of this page, please contribute towards a noble cause….
Go out for a movie or outing darling.. u really need a break!!!!
And an advice – EAT, DRINK and be MERRY for tomorrow U may WRITE… samjhe beta!!!!
i guess one other thing needs to be done while writing thesis… try and adventure out into things that u have never done before (like thesis writing) and in the process get away from the associated boredom by experimenting new things… well, i know one is always short of time, but I guess one needs to readjust to the other needs too.. I hope this one helps..
I agree that it is a VERY boring job.. I used to talk walks at the sea shore (and around the inst., and the colony at night).. with my MP3 player and my fav songs playing at a loud vol in my head..
I used to explore every hidden path that i had not explored earlier (or places where normally i had gone only during the treasure hunts).. As shilpy says, its probably the tiny bit of adventure which was helpful.
Another thing which helped a lot was dance.. it sounds crazy, i know, but in between the writing, when i felt very bored, i would play music and just dance (in my room, of course :p).
These things helped because they gave me some physical activity.. exercise – which probably increase the levels of endorphins in the body, leading to a general ‘happy’ feeling.

dear miss fiona…thanks for ur wishes…dancing in the room is a bit “not my cup of tea” as i only know “shaadi waala dance”…well…other ideas are seriously taken and many thanks for them…walking aside the shore and exercising in gym will be on schedule…

almost done now!!! last 4 chapters given for checking…so expect a long drive soon…the plan is to lonavala-khandala-mahabaleshwar-ganpatiphule-goa and back….
thanku people for all ur wishes and ideas…well the ideas would turn up into a book later on but as of now the thesis has turned up into a >200 page volume and am going to submit it soon…thanks again…:)
good to know that the work is almost done.. all the best for the final stuff!!! Still waiting for the outing….
